REGISTRATION FEES:
$425 per person competitive
$325 per person instructional -7-8U only (Tackle)
$200 per person FLAG - 5U-7U
All Players are required to sell $100 in Yeti raffle tickets. Tickets will be available in August.
FOOTBALL AGES:
Flag - 5-7 years old
Instructional -7-8 years old (Tackle)
Competitive 9-14 years old (Tackle)
Registration Cost Includes:
- Personalized reversible jersey to keep.
- Rental of Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Practice Jersey, Practice/Game Pants.
- Guaranteed playing time.
- Certified and trained coaching staff (American Youth Football)
What you will need to provide:
- Mouthguard
- Cleats
- Athletic Sports Supporter (Cup)
- Water bottle
- Copy of Birth Certificate (Needed by July 21st)
- Sports Physical or AYF Physical Form dated 2024 (Needed by July 21st)
What to expect:
- Season starts July 29th and runs through the completion of playoffs usually mid to end of November.
- All practices are held at Sycamore Park in August/September. Mid September practices move to Cannon Crossings.
- 4-5 days a week of practice starting July 29th until school starts.
- 3-4 days a week of practice after school starts.
- Games start at the end of August. One game per week on Saturday or Sunday.
- Possible travel week 1 to another AYF conference in near by state. (Accommodations and travel expenses not provided)
- Practice times usually run from 6:00-8:00pm.
- Players placed on teams based on age and experience, giving them the best opportunity to compete.
INSTRUCTIONAL LEVELS:
U8 TACKLE FOOTBALL (AGES 7-8) U8 football is a fun, instructional level of teaching basic principles of football with an emphasis on teamwork, blocking, and tackling while having a lot of FUN!! The U8 season starts July 29th and is over at the end of October. There are no playoffs and they play an 8 game season. All practices are Monday through Friday at Sycamore Park (3 days a week, for 1 1/2 hrs). All home games are also played at Sycamore Park, either Saturday or Sunday depending on the team. All Coaches are AYF Football Certified.
COMPETITIVE LEVELS:
DIVISION 2 (AGES 9-14):
Our Competitive levels are broken up into two divisions: Division 2 and Division 3. Within Division 2 there are several levels of play to provide the most competitive and safest place for your child to play. Division 2 is our top competitive level of play. The same as at the instructional level, your child will learn the basic fundamentals and principles of football, along with our core values of teamwork and sportsmanship. The Division 2 season starts July 29th and could go through the first part of December (National Championships are held the first part of December in Florida). This is for teams that win the Conference and Regional Championship). Division 2 teams are put together by the coaching staff during the first two weeks of practice. Practice will be 5 days a week for the first 3 weeks of August. Once school begins, practice will be cut to 3 days a week with a game played on Saturday or Sunday. Home games are played at Sycamore Park . Division 1 will play an 8 game regular season plus playoffs. All Coaches are AYF Football Certified.
DIVISION 3 (AGES 8-14)*:
Our Division 3 level of play is also broken up into several levels of play to provide the most competitive and safest place for your child to play. Division 3 is still a competitive level of play but does not have national playoffs (Conference and Regional Playoffs still exist). At the Division 3 level your child will once again learn the basic fundamentals and principles of football along with our core values of teamwork and sportsmanship. The Division 3 teams will spend a lot of time in these areas. The Division 3 season starts July 29th and could go through the first part of December (National Championships are held the first part of December in Florida). FLAG FOOTBALL:
Flag football will practice 2-3 nights a week. Games will be on the weekend after the tackle games (approximately 6 games).
